The original full-sized inflatable tube man, also known as the “air dancer”, was co-invented by Peter Minshall, a Trinidadian artist known for his Carnival designs, and Dorrel G. Craven, an engineer. The concept was developed for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
